xl results came out yesterday. waitlisted at 30 for BM programme. well well..first non-negative result is something to feel happy about. :)

another morning, another sunrise. nothing like a whiff of fresh morning air. there is something about the implicit coldness which pumps you up, and that is even when you have spent the entire night waking up.

anyways my admiration for human mind grows. it is hard to imagine the wonders this roughly 3 pound mass of convoluted ugly tissues can do. the myriad emotions and feelings that can emerge from the slightest interplay of chemicals. to think that even the most passionate feelings; be it the fiercest or the tender most, are nothing but the result of secretion of few drops of chemical fluid.

such a let down if you really think about it. kinda deromanticizes life. removes the heroic aura from the human spirit.... or does it ? baahhh..early morning fills me with crappy thoughts...!!!

i did have a detailed discussion with someone on what is the correct interpretation of "living life to the fullest". does it mean to let go and let the feelings rush in and overwhelm you or to examine each and every sensation and allow entry to only the feelings you want to live with, which possibly might colour you with a artificial hue.

obviously the answer would be somewhere in the middle, but finding that middle is the crux. i guess there is no one way to live life, oe else where would be all the fun. :P

36+ hours; i think i will call it a day now. in this near drunken state of sleeplessness, the slightest hint of sleep is seductive. i am looking forward to the dreams. got to go lucid somehow.

early morning...more like a late night. watching the sun rise after waking through the night is...is different. wonder why i never thought of that before; right, i knew, i just never thought about it.

action without reason is annhilating, but what is even more destructive is lack of action because of denial to reason. someone once said that there are no secrets, just hidden truths. i bet he managed to fill a deep void inside.

what is even more fascinating is the reason for denial. it has got nothing to do with failure to think. its about fear, the raw fear of consequences of thinking, the fear of unveling something which you perceive your will mind will never comprehend, the fear coming face to face with something you have tried all your life to avoid.

but i wouldnt say it is always that simple. you do tend to hit the stonewall when you dont even know what you are looking for, and believe me it is not a pleasant feeling, people who stay away from this twisted road are the lucky ones. but then again i guess they are missing something else, something very mysterious. anyways it is not the operative concern here. what is important is how you deal with the frustration. how deep you are ready to go down the road to get what you want.

ok i will stop the stupored ranting, but still it is the truth; truth that works most of the times, if not always.

Well I have heard loads about how overrated MBA is and how fantastically over-hyped IIMs are. As to my personal opinion, I would reserve it till I get the fortuitous chance to look at things up close. Any ways, till then I have something for all you wannabe MBAs to brood over.

There is this friend of mine who gave CAT this year, 7-8 months work-ex. Well he got calls from
ACLI. Well B is understandable but yes, gods own IIM too chose to gave him a naught. Naturally a bit perplexed, he mailed the IIMK guys. Not that he expected any illuminating answer, but he did get one.

i would try to reconstruct that two line mail almost verbatim, and then you be the judge..:)
